Having completed several exhibition projects with the team at the British Library AKA was privileged to be commissioned to consider the re-presentation of the permanent collection. These books, diaries and texts are amongst the most important documents in history so as you can imagine expectation is intense. The key to giving the collection greater exposure was to apply an open mind to the phrase which describes it, the method of signage from the outside and it’s case labeling.
